Yes, as christians we do believe in Christ as mesiah, the son of the living Father.

However, my question is, do we really follow his (Christ's) laws? In the biblical history when Jesus Christ was on earth he delivered so many laws and teachings on how we, the followers of Christ (christians) could live. His laws are are found from the bible (New Testiment).

In other religions they really do mean business to follow whatever laws they have. Example, muslms pray three times a day despite circumstances or they give what they call 'thanksgiving' to poor people and many others. All these things (according to their believe) must be done regardless of whatever.....they have. So for years they have followed them.

When comparing to that of the Christianity, many chrustian play up with the laws that are stated in the bible for us to follow. Does that mean Jesus will have mercy on us because the christians are on a religion that contains Christ name?

Joe, I think most people who "CALL" themselves Christians don't have the Faintest Idea of what it means to live God's Laws. They are too busy PROFFESSING THEM to have the Time to ACTUALLY live them and KNOW what it means to put "WORDS" to Alteriorless Holy Actions.

A REAL MAN of God is seldom HEARD Proffessing that he IS ONE...He's busy PROVING it...

HI Joe. You write a lot of interesting stuff. I always enjoy reading it.

I would venture that the basis for all human relationships should be respect and kindness. Isn't this one of Christ's most basic teachings?
He wants a person to respect and show kindness even to enemies. (I am not Christian but I practice this philosophy in my life. It's amazingly powerful)

Many people are very busy demanding that others respect them but they spend very little time respecting any one else. It is arrogant and egotistical and very ignorant. Practicing universal respect is very difficult and often a matter of paying close attention to the smallest interactions in your life. It requires humility, seeing every human as equal no matter what they do, where they live, how smart they may or may not be, how rich they are or not etc. The rewards are great however.

I think many people who love Christ often miss his message of respect. I think that's a really big problem and I doubt Christ will be happy no matter what name they put on the church.

Joe:

Paul explained it quite well when he said that the law was our school master to bring us "TO" Christ. Upon trying to honestly keep God's laws, one quickly finds out that it is impossible for anyone to do this.

We are born into this world as sinners because God put seed into all life to bring forth after it's own kind. Therefore, when Adam & Eve sinned, disobeyed, because of being deceived, they separated themselves from God and everyone born into this world after that, had their (Adam & Eve's) fallen nature because everything brings forth after it's own kind.

Jesus said in John 3:3 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, (which means very important) Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."

Your first birth into this world was a physical birth, but the second birth (for those who receive it) is a spiritual birth.

It's good to go to church because that's where we learn of Christ, but your church cannot save you. Church was meant to be a place to point people "TO" Christ, not "TAKE THE PLACE" of Christ.

It's easy and natural to put our faith in the church we each individually attend, something we can see, but also wrong! God wants us to put our faith in the unseen, "in Him."
