Are you a Featherston? My grandma was born MaryAnn Featherston in NYC, 1890's, but had no birth certificate. Only a little is known about her and her mother who was a Clancy from County Cork. The family story is that her mom married a man Featherston who had a family and was a widower, they had some kids (Mary Ann and others).

I've seen the name hand written with an e on the end and also without. I wonder if I am distantly related to Mickey or any of you on this facebook.
