I am writing a war memoirs and need to know as much as possible about Toulon (when war was over) - apparently 1st Battalion of Suffolks went overto Palestine/Israel?? There were deserters in Toulon, but I need to know anything about Toulon or the destination in Middle East at this time please. Thanks
