I once shot a sporterized lee-metford with a shortrtened stock and it kicked like a mule .if I was u i'd consider a good wooden stock or fill the sythetic stock with some weight if thats possible .when I was in tha Dollar academy CCF int the seventies we had the lee-enfield and it was a great gun to shoot rapid fire but you must remember when loading the mag to put one rim up one down one up one up one down and give the mag a rap to settle the cartridges regards ccserx
