In a chapter of my English Language Koran, namely Bni Israil, or the People of Israel, it says that God will gather the Jews up and make them "one again". I seem at first sight to interpret this as a prediction of the future re-creation of the State of Israel, but I am sure Musslims must have at this time some other interpretation! What is it?

104 "And We said unto the Children of Israel after him: Dwell in the land; but when the promise of the Hereafter cometh to pass We shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations. "

This in my opinion is obviously a prophesy stated in the Quran, about the creation of a State of Israel, which I have not as yet recieved a proper answer from the Muslims I have talked to, about it's true meaning! Certainly if it says what I think it means, for a Muslim to oppose the State of Israel, is to go against the Quran! If it is not what I interpret, then Allah has purposely produced an ambiguous statement that I would not expect from a mercifull, all-powerfull Divinity. Hence Muslim oposers of the State of Israel are casting doubts on the Divinity of Allah by their hatred towards Israel!

This same phrophesy seems that Christians also do believe to be inevitable at their end of times, although Ultraorthodox Jews seem to not agree that the State of Israel can come about without the advent of a Messiah! Can two out of three major Religions be wrong then? Or has the Messiah finally come and humanity is incapable of recognizing the fact?

According to the texts that I am reading the Messiah has already come. As I read the prophecies there is no confusion about the matter. In Christianity there are different schools of thought on the supposed gathering Jews prophecies. Here I believe that this is only secondary to the messiahanic prophecies but I am willing to have a didactic debate.
Lets start with this text:
Acts 2:23-33 (New International Version)

23This man was handed over to you BY GOD'S SET PURPOSE AND FOREKNOWLEDGE; and you, with the help of wicked men,[a] put him to death by nailing him to the cross.
24But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
25David said about him:
" 'I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
26Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will live in hope,
27because you will not abandon me to the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
28You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.'[b]

29"Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ,[c] that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay. 32God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. 33Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
