I am researching my roots and was told that James Mycall was the father of Rebecca Mycall, who was married to Richard Thayer, supposedly from my lineage...maybe,which goes back to an earlier Richard Thayer, the immigrant of 1641.. I was also told that James Mycall, was a Scot who was captured by the English from this battle of DUNBAR, and sold to the SAUGUS IRON WORKS in Massachusetts.
This is the battle of 1296, but it may be the battle in the year of 1650.
The father of Rebecca Mycall was James Mycall, a Scot captured by the British at the 'Battle of Dunbar' and sold to the Saugus Iron Works in Massachusetts as an indentured servant.
In all of the research on this forum, has anyone heard of,or have any information on this JAMES MYCALL?
