Contrary to christian belief, Jesus PBUH was never crucified. Though an attempt was made, they were not successful in crucifying the real Jesus. He was not dead. He is still alive. He will come back to this earth again. Don't ask me when.
When he will come back, he will rule the believers world, wipe out unbelievers, marry, have children, and die. His body will be buried in Arabia. . . . . .

Pity that Jesus is SO bloodthirsty ; he will wipe out Moslems and Hindus and Buddhists and many others ?
Yet ALL those people are Created by GOD ;

so Jesus is going to REJECT God's Creation ?

Where did you learn that Jesus was NOT crucified ?
It is very likely that they tried a, at least, since it was a common Roman form of execution.

How did it come about that they failed to kill him ?

The concept of second coming in Christian world is certainly intriguing one, does it mean actual physical descent or perhaps reawakening of once consciousness to higher realm of knowledge and love. I would say second option is more of what Jesus meant.

Luke 4:10-12 10 For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect and guard you. 11 And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’” 12 Jesus responded, “The Scriptures *also say*, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’

This means Jesus confirmed what the Scripture say about his safeguard. . . If the Satan cannot hurt him, how can the children of man?

Wipe out doesn't necessarily mean he will stab them. . . May be he will make all other false religion disappear. . .

But one thing s for sure that if a gone man comes back , he must do something. . .
