The crust of the earth is already all cracked up, but there are some "hot spots", where the tectonic plates are fragmented, such as between the western Pacific and the Indian oceans, and along the western shores of our own homeland (America). It is possible one of these fragmented areas could buckle, allowing the larger plates surrounding them to rapidly reposition themselves momentarily, in geologic time.
There would likely be extensive volcanism occurring at the buckle, resulting in enough particulate matter in our atmosphere to block the sun, causing rapid cooling. This could throw us into an ice age. Droughts would persist, resulting in mass starvation on earth.
We now know that environmental extremes have been the impetus for the evolution of our human brain to where we are now, as we learned to adapt to these changes. Extinctions on earth have been occurring since day 1 for life on earth, and these collapses allow for more complex organisms to emerge, and existing organisms to increase in complexity.
2012 consciousness is what the suvivors of the currently unfolding extinction will evolve into, as our creative adaptive abilities increase in complexity.
This is scary stuff, and if you don't understand what's happening when it gets going good, you will probably think not just the earth is cracking up, but your whole world will seem to be breaking down. Those who embrace their Humanity on a collective level, instead of just their own personal survival, will likely usher in our new consciousness. But those who reject Mother Nature's plan for us, will be unable to take pleasure in their own personal evolution.

Well, aren't we quick witted...here's my thought...if the shit does hit the fan...I'm not going to be anywhere near a large population of people....anarchy will reign....the evil of man will come out....when it does come out it will be looking for groups of people to terrorize and control....feel free to live with the herd....my family and I will be 10 clicks away, just close enough to hear your screams....and just far enough away to avoid the terror....stay together die together....it works both ways, but at least I won't be relying on strangers, praying that they are as decent as I....stick with your blood, and that's it....enjoy

You are so-o right!! Anarchy will have to be survived! And your approach has it's merits. I'm so scared I've already fled to the mountains! My link to you is by satellite. I live on the western flanks of the Peacock mountains in the high desert of Northwest Arizona. From my perspective, I have a half mile clear radius, no one but me, with Kingman filling the valley below me.
And I don't own a gun. Because I have another perspective that has a different type of protective energy for me that I believe I can count on. My evolving mind has found an out for us all, and I'm goin' for it. And my faith is the driver.
We're facing an extinction event seemingly getting ready to get going good in the next decade or so. Now, extinctions are happening all the time. And they're sayin' this one's gonna be a doozie. I've heard figures in the nineties percent range. Extinctions are what bring out the best of nature. If we weren't so afraid of death, we would see the wisdom in them. I believe I can go further in time promoting Humanity on a collective level than on a personal level.
What I fear most is Mother Nature, not my fellow human.
But there is another out. As we are waking up to new mental functions evolving in ourselves, we are on the verge of learning to throw all our emtional energy behind our intentions, giving us mental/emotional powers we haven't dreamed of yet. And the reason we haven't been aware of them is because they are just now approaching a maturity that will enable them in us. And in a timely manner, our awareness of ourselves has evolved high enough to make us aware we need to each of us hold ourselves accountable for our actions. We will each and every one be our own final judge. I believe when we die, we see ourselves as we really are, and without a second thought we take our place in reality as we carved it out while we were human. God will not need to judge me, for I will already have judged myself.
This emotional energy will serve to enhance our interpersonal communication. It will be so strong, that to be angry at your neighbor would kill him. That's why a responsibile attitude toward life must thrive in us.This emotional energy is our body's emotional expression of what I call electric thought. In the brain, nearly all information and energy transformation is electrical potentials performing functions in matter. I believe electricity forms a barrier we cannot "see" out of. It is first and foremost a barrier of information. There are things going on outside of electricity (electrical awareness)that we simply cannot "see"! To understand true reality would preclude possibility of being here. We would be too aware to go along with universal macro reality. We couldn't play by the rules. We must not emerge til death!
And since that is where we came from, that is where we will return to. I guess. I really don't worry about that at all; I'm exploring what I am here first. I'll do whatever over wherever. And whatever drives them over there, I'm probably here to magnify that very thing, an' since my mommy told me love was the way, and Jesus showed us how, that's the faith I have chosen. But I care not to change anyone's mind about that. If God is Love, then Love is God. If Love is God, then Love is Life. I want to change you mind about Life. If you believe my Life is sacred, I won't need to fear you. And somewhere, somehow, one of us has got to figure out how to take the first step. So the other one doesn't need to, cause we're carrying each other's loads whether it is explicit or implicit.
From our perspective, electric thought is the highest form of thought we can achieve in matter. Because all matter emerges from electrical potential, all thought occurring in matter cannot "see" outside of matter. This would not be so if all matter were to suddenly become anti-matter. A simple sudden reversal of charges at atomic levels could suddenly give matter a transparency that would make us more aware of the origin of the reality we are experiencing. I think that may be what 2012 consciousness is all about.
But higher thought is not to be sought after, as much as crrect polarization of the thought energy we have now. Which will give our emotions a charge that can move mountains if needed. And the reason that can happen is because the universe is really conceptual in nature, it exists first as a mental phenomenon, meaning in the exreme, we are potentially capable of evolving to the point where to create something will be but to imagine it; to be somewhere will be but to imagine the place. In Quantum theory, it is the expectations of the observer that drive the outcome. But it is collective conscious energy that rules the world. Isolated fragmented mentalities disappear into collective surges of moral strength and drive, and without Life's polarizing Love awareness dissolves. And so identity fails.
I believe the universe is waiting for us to mature to where we can start creating wormholes and propagating the universe with Life.
But we will have to do all of this stuff collectively, because all matter is connected. Scientists say all matter is "entangled". Because it all started at the same place, at the same time, etc.
But what I'm trying to get myself to say here is when thoughts have correct electrical polarity, love is the emotion that flows. Love rules matter's flow. Go figure!

Yeah I hear you....and that all sounds fine and dandy in collective dream state where all beings are full of love for one another....this is not the case in this universe that you and I both live in....being that we both live in a universe where one must protect him/herself from others limits my ability to run through this dream-like fantasy of yours....I do fear death, but only because I love life so much....yeah, death maybe better...or it may be worse....I just don't know, and neither do you....while I'm here on this rock I will protect myself and my family from those who mean us harm....yes I am armed, not only with weopons of physical properties, but my mind as well....I've heard your collective awareness attitude before by many....this is my reason that I know humanity isn't ready....take an auto accident....there are 10 witnesses....all 10 witnesses will see the same exact accident in 10 completely different ways, so how on earth will we get all of humanity to think positively together on the same thought in exactly the same way?....impossible....enjoy

It's people like you that are trying to scare the rest of the world into thinking that the world is coming to ann end in our lifetime. God will decide when teh world will end not any one of these witty bloggers, who think global warming is anything more than a normal cycle of climate change.
