The clone is nearly the same as the identical twin of the person being cloned. Accordingly it should be about as disease resistant as that person. It should be susceptible to about the same diseases and resistant to about the same diseases.
Much the same applies to other talents and weaknesses of the person being cloned.
If you like twins, then cloning might be of interest. Otherwise it would be at best just one of the tools of value in developing means to improve the human species.
For most other purposes, sex is cheaper and more fun.
