Biography

Alfonso Hüppi could be trained from 1950 to 1954 in Lucerne for a silversmith and worked as a journeyman until 1954. From 1954 to 1958 he worked as a hammer in a hammer mill workers. Then he moved from 1958 to 1959 while traveling in the Middle East. Then in 1960 a study of the sculpture was to the Art and School of Pforzheim and work at the College of Fine Arts in Hamburg. There he became a lecturer from 1961 to 1964 for calligraphy and design. From 1964 to 1968 he was assistant at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden. He then took over from 1974 to 1999 a professor of painting at the Art Academy
