. The road begins at the Rideau River
, a continuation of Lower Town's
St. Patrick Street which continues until the Alexandra Bridge
towards Gatineau. It runs a short distance to Beechwood Cemetery
, where it becomes Hemlock Road which runs east until past the Aviation Parkway near the Ottawa/Rockcliffe Airport
. The western part of the road is largely commercial with a number of stores and restaurants. The eastern section of the road near the cemetery is more residential.
