Dennis Dannley is a former member of the Ohio General Assembly
. Dannley was also a Medina city clerk, city solicitor and assistant county prosecutor before becoming county prosecutor in 1953. He ran and won a seat in the Ohio House of Representatives
in 1960, serving from Medina County. He went on to be reelected three times, serving a total of eight years, or four terms. He was succeeded by the future Speaker of the House, William G. Batchelder
.
Following his time as a legislator, Dannley served in the judiciary on the Medina County Probate Court, where he was a Judge from 1968 until his retirement in 1985. He died on April 29, 1997 at the age of 82.
