 1230AM - "1-2-3-0 on your radio". WCMA, like the other Dixie Network stations (as well as almost all small-town stations of the era), had a variety format, at least into the mid-1960s.

The network was owned and operated by Aaron B. Robinson. Upon his death in 1973, the stations were held in trust by a bank in Jackson which was to decide if Aaron Junior should inherit them. The bank deemed that he should not and the stations began to be sold in 1973.

Some of the network programming included "Dateline Dixie, news of the south for those in the south”. T.N.T, temperature news and time....the outcue for all events was "This is Dixie". And of course, the stations signed on and off with Dixie
