The school's mascot is a Warrior and the students are commonly referred to as the Edgewood Warriors. The School colors are Scarlet and Grey. The Edgewood Fight Song was written by Gene Milford, who used to be the band director. The song resembles the style of Cherokee music in the introduction. Then it quickly turns into a fast paced march. The songs lyrics are:
"Go mighty Warriors, fight for the Red and Grey,
We'll cheer you on to victory,
And be loyal all the way.
And when our colors hit the field,
We'll raise our mighty cheer,
RAH! RAH! RAH!
For another Warrior victory,
Will soon be here."
