TISM was a seven piece anonymous alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia. The group was formed in 1982 and enjoyed a large underground/independent following. Their third album Machiavelli and the Four Seasons reached the Australian national top 10 in 1995...

. It was only ever released as a 12" vinyl record and is very hard to find today. The first release had blue shading on the cover and a poster, the later releases had the same picture on the cover, shaded red, and no poster.

The album rose to Number 1 on the Australian Alternative Charts.
