Early Life
As a freshman in high school Lawson taught himself several programming languages. He became proficient in C/C++, and in 2001 started a computer programming company with fellow classmates called Diputs Software. While working part-time as a programmer, he pioneered 2D rendering concepts using the OpenGLOpenGL
