In the township the population was spread out with 26.8% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 26.3% from 45 to 64, and 9.5% who were 65 years of age or older. - Carlisle is a historic locale in the township at the junction of Carlisle Highway and Lacey Lake Road at 42°33′11"N 84°57′59"W. Charles T.
