He married Jenny Ross
, who joined the band shortly after the release of the first releases, and became another singer in the group. She died in 2004, by the time the band were reuniting. Section 25 continued through the years since then, adding also Larry and Jenny's daughter, Bethany, whose voice recalls that of Jenny. However, Larry Cassidy died of unknown causes on 27 February 2010, at the age of 56.
