Martin Mesík is a Slovak
ski jumper who holds the Slovak national record with 195.5 m which he set in Kulm
2006. Mesík, who became and elite ski jumper in 1995 was for a long time the only Slovak World Cup ski jumper and had to train by himself. In 2007 another Slovak made his way up to the World Cup, Tomáš Zmoray
. Even through that, Mesík ended his career one year later.
Mesík is now living in Selce

He has competed 2 times in the Olympic Games, 9 at the World Championships and 90 in the World Cup. His best World Cup placement is a 16th place from Willingen
