On 9 February 2011, Duke made his senior debut for the Central Coast Mariners and also scored his first goal in a 3-1 win over Gold Coast United.Mitchell spent four years at the Australasian Soccer Academy under Tony Basha. Mitchell was always rated highly by the coaching staff.
