had taken her for granted too many times and left to live with a friend in London
. Mel successfully joined the police force in early 2008. Later that year, Jerry had a Heart Attack and Teresa returned and began to poison Jerry in order to stay with her family, this led to Jerry going into intensive care and being close to dying. Jerry, Kayleigh and Finlay left the street in late September for a new life without Teresa in Spain
, though Darryl
and Mel decided to stay. Mel left in early October however, but went to live with a friend in Stretford
instead of with the rest of her family. Darryl is now the only Morton left in street.Darryl left the street so the only Morton is Teresa.
