History

North Cache is not what the school was originally called, and eighth and ninth graders are not what it originally housed. In the early 1900s, it was known as North Cache High School. Later, in 1964 it was transformed into North Cache Junior High. In 1983, it became North Cache Middle School. Then, in 1994 it was renamed into North Cache Freshman Center, because only ninth graders were in attendance.
