Pirshagi is famous for its "gold dust" called sandy beaches. There also grows grapes and figs famed for its taste . There are many architectural monuments in Pirshagi- a mosque constructed in XIX century, an old bathhouse, and also a pir called “Pirshagi tataz piri”, formerly a lot of pilgrims came together in this place and that is why the settlement is called Pirshagi (in translation: the Shah of feasts). The local climate and sand is considered to be curative and a lot of representatives of the Azerbaijan intelligency had summer residences in this area for that reason.
