. Along with Corsten, Smit worked under the project name Sons Of Aliens and released Gabber
music, and in 1997 they released their first trance hit single
, "I'm In Love" under Starparty moniker. The track was a trance rework of their 1995 track, "In Love With You" under their previous Sons Of Aliens alias.
Together with Corsten they established Tsunami Records in 1998, a record label
used by Ferry Corsten. In 1999, using another alias Generator he released "Where Are You Now?", a #60 entry in the UK Singles Chart
.In 2000 Robert Smit and Ferry Corsten released System F - Cry, which reached the UK Top 20.
For 2009 a new remix of "The Generator - Where are you now" is due to come out, mixed by AJ Hutch. Robert is also collaborating in a new project with Dutch producer Jan Oostdyk.
