Spirit Walk
Encyclopedia
Spirit Walk is Randy Stonehill's
twenty-third studio album
. The song "Life is Tough" is a current concert staple. The CD was released on September 20, 2011.
Like "Return to Paradise", the project lyrically sifts through some darker themes while cleaving to faith.
Regarding the title track, Stonehill wrote on his Facebook wall "I was driving through the high desert on a haunting, moonlit night when this guitar hook start dancing through my head. The whole scene made me think of Bob Dylan and how he might describe the essence of this life's journey."
The songs "Remember the Devil" and "That's Where the Devil Live" echo the theme of the Stonehill classics "Counterfeit King" and "Shut De Do" which warn us to beware of the wickedness and snares of Satan.
