The 1823 Burmese war resulted in my g-g-grandfather Robert Lovell Magrath, from Ireland, receiving horrendous injuries from which he recovered. Apparently he was a cadet in the East India Company earlier. I am seeking to find records of this war together with records of Military personnel involved in it. Does anyone have any access to such records or wish to pursue such a search with me ?
