I recently found a wooden case for an A-5 that my uncle made in the 1940's. Any idea as to worth. It is 100% hand carved and in good shape.

First of all are you sure your uncle made the case? Browning did offer suit case like cases at one time and if it is one of these it will enhance the value of the A-5.
I have an A-5 five that came in what the called a Leg-u-mutten leather case with the original owner's name stamed into it. I have been offered more for it. It' not 4 sale though.
