A.A.'s Timeline of Nursing Hisotry has this posted as fact:

"1755 - Rabia Choraya, head nurse or matron in the Moroccan Army. She traveled with Braddock’s army during the French & Indian War. She was the highest-paid and most respected woman in the army."

This entry, with the exact words, is repeated all over the internet. Where does this information come from? Charlotte Brown was the head matron or head nurse with Braddock in 1755. I can find no mention of Choraya in any context other than the above quote.
