A local am radio station transmitter has recently been closed down & demolished, having been aparently the conelrad thing for this area....local farmer has salvaged some of the junk, he remembers it being built in 1950's....and there are some curious things....100 acres of land was involved & tons of equipment , overbuilt for a pumpkin center like this....so was government $ used to build it?....a 500 watt station with 4 towers 360 ft. high & an incredible cement bunker....a map was uncovered of the property, and that is my question....an oval was drawn of the middle land...and the border seperate....2 prop. owned by 2 companies...was this a sevitude for control of some sort?
