Abolish Sick Leave Pay policy

Our company is currently facing financial constraints due to the world financial crisis.
We are trying to cut down on cost. One of our cost cutting measure is to do away with the Paid Sick Leave.
would like to hear yr views on the pros/cons of Paid Sick leave.

Paid sick leave is only fair! People can't help it if they get sick.
