Dear Discussion Forum Members:

Please support me on my aeronautics specialty (public) college proposal for the old Davao Airport at Sasa, Davao City, Philippines. My proposal is a US-par (at least in some respects) aero college that's suggested to be backed, supported and promoted by the UNESCO, Division of Higher Education; Section for Reform, Innovation and Quality Assurance, Paris, France. And the funding for the school's Endowment to be sought from the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, with the recommendation of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) that we will seek.

The school is proposed to be established with assistance from the University of Southeastern Philippines, Barrio Obrero, Davao City; and to be set up in partnership with the Aerospace Engineering Department of the California State University, Long Beach; and the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida; two schools that offered the proponent, me, M.S. Aero Eng. degree program admission in the 1990's.

You can read my discussions and examine my finished 24 aeronautics-related specialty B.S. curriculums in my webpage "Dreams of Darvin Anthony Delgra of a MODERN Philippine Aeronautics" in the Internet.

Hoping for your response. Thank you.

Engr. Darvin Delgra, BSME, MSAE grad student (California State University, Long Beach; expired leave: 1999-2000)

Dear Discussion Forum Members:

The name of my proposed aeronautics specialty (public - state or local, city) college will be the DAEDALUS, The Davao Aeronautical Institute of Technology, nicknamed after the famed ancient Greek Mythology of "Daedalus and Icarus," of success and failure very well-known story that is now part of literature (see Internet). Let us follow Brazil's example with their pioneer aero school, ITA - Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica, "The Cradle of the Modern Brazilian Aerospace Industry." Their national aircraft company EMBRAER, established around 1970, is now the World's 3rd largest commercial aircraft company. ITA was established in 1950. Brazil has a fledgling space program and a national space agency. It all started with their US-par aero college ITA. It's never too late for us Filipinos to pursue genuine aeronautical development starting with my envisioned US-par aero college, the Daedalus. Please response. Thank you.
