I have found myself with a surprising desire to re-write the Beiderbecke Trilogy in a modern context but using Plater's three themes, firstly privacy, police and council corruption. Secondly, government misinformation and surveillance and thirdly protection of an outsider, say a whistle blower.

Just not sure how to get started, any ideas?
