Does anyone know whether DeVry University houses the historical archives of the old Bell & Howell Company (company history, not Proquest)? I know they still existed somewhere as late as the 1990's, but cannot locate them. Queries to DU have gone unanswered, but it's difficult to determine whom to ask.

I too have been trying to find the Bell & Howell Archives to obtain the history of a 1927 Model 2709 camera. I talked to someone 20 years ago about this camera but did not get the history in writing. Anyone know where the record are.?

I have been unsuccessful at locating any information. The one person I know of who should know where they are does not respond to any kind of queries. That would be Patricia Zimmermann, who wrote the book "Reel Families" and referenced the archives heavily in her book. I'm still looking, but I fear the object of the search may be leaning toward landfills instead of libraries.
