Due to the passing away of our recent elected member for parliament the late Hon. Ludwig Shulz it is again another opportunity to elect someone with leadership qualities to represent the people of the part of middle and lower Sepik River area.

Some one who has the heart to live in Angoram and not in Port Moresby or Wewak, the District needs the presence of the member, ol o tok trupla lida save silip kirap wantaim of pipol. So ol wantok long Angoram, prepare for the bi election cause its coming our way.

Another concern for us is please bear in mind that river people we survive on the river, therefore the effect of Freida Mine though its way up the catchment, we will be affected one way or the other, has the Government, be it Provincial or National Govt done some data base studies on the quality current marine lives especially the fish. Dont wait until the mine is on and we start complaining by then it will be too late,lets learn from the bitter experience of Ok Tedi on the Fly River. Sepik River is more populated from upstream and down so its a concern my dear countrymen.
