Hi,
We have built a nice loft and acquired a number of white homing pigeons that we want to train to do releases at weddings etc.
The birds are now about 6 and/or 7 weeks old and have been released from the loft most days for the past 2-3 weeks.
They fly around the house, but go no farther. They seem to like sitting on the house roof better than flying.
We are wondering how long it will be until they begin to fly out of sight for a few to many minutes. We thought they would be doing that by now. Are we just being overanxious or is something wrong?
Thanks for any help.
