Dear Sir/Madam,
During the pregnancy of my wife during first child, she was suffering from excess hypermesis graviderum. After 2nd month of pregnancy, she started vomitting and it was such sievere that she vomitted continuosuly for 8-10hrs and no oral meidcine like perinorm or zofer or omeprazole based medicine etc could not stop vomitting. After vomitting for 2-3hrs, she was suffering from sivere chest pain.It was so hurrible that we had to inject Perinor and ranitidene through vein to control her vomitting. But unfortunately it does not last for a long time. Again after 6-8hrs, she perists same vomitting and chest pain. We had conducted endoscopy, Ultrasoud etc but everything was normal. As per doctor, she is a patient of hypermesis graviderum, so whenever she will vomit excessively we have to inject perinorm or zofer injection along with ranitidene and after excess vomitting we have to inject 5% dextrose through vein.In this way we continued for the entire pregnency till birth. By the grace of God, my wife delivered a baby girl and both wrer absolutely fine. Now my daughter is 4years old. Now we want to plan for second child.
So I request you to advice the reason for hypermesis graviderum and how to overcome from this sivere case. Is there anything she should have before pregnancy or during pregnancy. Please advice some medicine which I should consult my doctor before that. I will be grateful, if you can give some good advice to stop vomitting and chest pain as well as it will not be harmful to the child also.
thanks and regards,
