After googling the online definition, generation that grew up during WWI, I feel that our generation as a whole is lost, not simply the young generation as the original definition implies. People (young, teen, adult, seniors) in industrialized countries are feeling the pangs of corporate "overtaking." I question the overtaking because global capitalism requires the producer and the consumer to function, so placing the blame on corporate superpowers solely would be hypocritical. I also distinguish between industrialized and somewhat industrialized countries because the power to influence global economic shifts is based on superpower affiliation. But I believe that he current generation does not know how to influence global change yet. In this respect, non superpowers like Egypt have taught the global community a great deal.
