I believe my GG grandmother and grandfather were his personal slaves. Their names were William and Elizabeth (Lizzie). Lizzie was always referred to as a Mulatto, and it appears, she lived in the "big house" with the LeFlores at Malmaison. I wondered if she was his mistress, she had other mulatto children, which was very fair with straight hair. These traits were passed down to my father and to me as well.

I have been told through oral history that my fathers family came from Choctaw and French ancestry. Is this a coincidence?

I personally believe that he did father children with Lizzie.

Greenwood Leflore probably had several children by slaves. It is said that he fathered a son by the name of Alexander Leflore.

My Great Great Great Great Grandmother was his slave. ANd I have wondered myself. Her Child, and Grandchildren said that he was Nice. But In our records they never eluded to whether he was fathering children. And its a rough one seeing as though the slaves took his last name.

I'm he's 6th great granddaughter from he's 1st marriage and I would think it's likely. if u ever want to do a DNA test i'm ok with it.
