i dont think so. i was told once that the first mass market car to have them as standard was the mondeo by ford. i could be wrong however and would like to find out. mind you i live in the uk so if you live in adifferent country the answer could be different.
if you are looking for a reliable safe and cheap car to find parts for id recomend the volvo v40 estate. im still in hospital from my motor bike accident 7 weeks ago im here for weeks as i cant walk. so when i get out of here im going to do my license and get one myself. they were the safest car in the world. they might not be anymore but if your budget is like mine its well worth a look.
