I remember hearing a classical piece on NPR many years ago that sounded VERY much like Rhapsody in Blue. I seem to remember someone talking about it as being a possible inspiration for Rhapsody in Blue though Gershwin may have not realized it (or perhaps he did and never admitted it). I know almost nothing about music so don't have a clue as to the type of compostion, the composer, but do remember thinking how much of it was similar to Rhapsody in Blue as I listened to it. Am I the only one who thinks there is a possible link to an earlier compostion?
