Does anyone know where Abir is now (2009). I lived with her in graduate school at Va. Commonwealth, and have lost touch. Anyone?

Not sure this helps, but I was visiting Amman over New years and by the most amazing coincidence, she happened to be sitting next to me at the bar at the Royal hotel! She was the 1st person I wished a happy new Year!
while talking she mentioned she was teaching Phys Ed in a high school in the DC area - and then she was kind enough to invite me to join her friends at her place in the royal residence, which is only when i realized who she was!
unfortunately didnt get any contact info, so sorry this is probably not helpful to you :(
I was just curious how her name came up in this Astronomy forum. I've been a keen follower of astronomy (when I can!) so would like to know if there's any connection at all between Abir and Astro
needless to say Abir was one of the most down to earth, nice and gracious people I have met, and certainly for a member of a great royal family such as hers!
