Elisabeth Morrow requested information from the baby's doctor. He replied to her 4 days before the body was found. In the reply, he covers the condition of the baby from an earlier exam. Why did Elisabeth request this information? The doctor noted the developmental delays and normal development of the baby plus the diet he recommended. I am curious to know the reasoning behind the inquiry. Can anyone help?

The body recovered was not the Lindbergh baby. DNA can prove this, though it's doubtful it would ever happen. Charles Jr. was kidnapped and later raised by his Nanny to adulthood. It's possible he's still alive but doesn't know who he really is.
