Dzyan and Evolution

I was a bit surprised to see the Book of Dzyan on a website like this, less surprised that it has not sparked a discussion. I put my own version of Dzyan out under the title "O Lanoo!" and I know there are some contentious claims in there.

But ignoring the more bizarre stuff, how about evolution? I don't want to imply criticism of Darwin, but is everyone else satisfied that natural selection provides all the answers? It might explain the development of the beaks of finches on different islands, but does it explain the first appearance of the feather? Or the 'evolution' of warm-blooded mammals from cold-blooded reptiles?

Dzyan suggests a bridge between creationism and evolution: interventionism. Yes, something was created long ago; yes, life forms evolved; but also, evolution received nudges in the right direction from time to time.

I'm not giving answers, by the way. 'Lanoo' is a word for a spiritual student, someone who is seeking the truth.
