I am new to the site, I hope it's OK. I just wonder, is there definitive proof that Elizabeth and her cousin Mary of Scotland really never met? And if they really didn't, is there any clue as to exactly why? Was Elizabeth concerned of her cousin "powers of persuasion", or did she just not consider it worthwhile? I mean after all they were relatives... Or could it be that they did meet and it just didn't get recorded? Thank you, anyone who is knowledgeable about this!
