Realism is a school of thought that explains international relations in terms of power. Realist believe:
1. "the strong do what they have the power to do and the weak accept what they have to except"
2. A free for all exists when government is absent and people seak thier own self interests.
3. Realist do not always favor using military power, although they reconize the necessity of doing so at times.
Foundation of Realism Principle of dominance; Alternatives based on reprocity and identy will be reviewed.
