Yes I saw the Comet with my naked eye one morning in 1995 just before dawn on the west coast of the U.S.A., I could not beleave what I was seeing. I watched the Comet for one week after I saw it for the first time. I watched it with my 100mm telescope, each night from sunset until I could no longer see it as it raced toward the Sun. I was amazed at how huge it was in the sky. It has had a profound effect me and my outlook on life , if it would have hit the planet, all of us would no longer be here
