Can we build some history of Flour Cove? I recall my Dad speaking about a ship loaded with flour foundering somewhere down the Neck. He said the flour (in bags) was only ruined for about an inch but the rest was good. My guess is that is how Flour Cove got its name. Probably sometime in the 19th century.
