Food Additives, Why?

What is the reason to add azodicarbonimide to bread, except to effect your health after you eat it? And I don't mean in a positive way! That goes for other unnecessary food additives like: polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, mono-diglycerides, PGPR, Polysorbate 40, Polysorbate 60, Polysorbate 80, Titanium Dioxide, etc. (Soy)bean products, [(Soy)bean Oil, Hydrolyzed (Soy)bean Oil, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Soy Protein, Soy Protein Concentrate, Soy Flour, Soy Lecithin, etc.], besides affecting people who are allergic, and/or have a Thyroid Condition, they also give you an after taste! Yuch! Why put these ingredients (food additives) in foods? I prefer Natural, Homemade, and/or Organic Foods, they taste sooooo much better, and they are better for you!
