I'm in a jam and need some advice. I bought a Mercedes from a guy in Chicago its an 80 300D and had it shipped to California . Went to registered the car at the DMV and found out it was a "Grey Market Car" even though the seller had the title and signed it over to me its a "grey" . Here is my delemia , California doesn't have an inspection station for a "grey market Diesel car, so they won't give me my title for the car.
Without the title I can't sell the car, the DMV will return the sellers Title to me but I still can't sell since I don't own it. The seller has no interest in helping me out on reselling so ???? Lawyer time ?
