Our Group will begin a walk from Tignish to Elmira in late May. This walk will be to highlight the importance of eradicating poverty in PEI. We will notify all the MLAs to join us for a short distance to inform them of the necessity for them to work toward the eradication of poverty in PEI. We invite all persons or groups to join us in this walk. One can choose to participate at different points of the trail or the entire length of the trail. A blog has been created that will have our start time and daily reports on our progress. We will also have in the blog information on why we should be concerned with the high number of persons that are forced to live below the poverty line in PEI.
